Tierra Natural is a Singapore-based brand operating in the sustainable period care space, with a focus on organic, environmentally conscious, and premium product offerings. The brand’s first product launch is centred around an organic cotton-based sanitary napkin designed specifically for the Indian market, with Kochi serving as the initial launch base.
The larger vision for Tierra Natural goes beyond utility-led period care. The brand aims to position itself as a modern, premium, and sustainability-first alternative within a category that is often driven purely by function and mass-market communication.
The Ask
Tierra Natural approached WIT at a very early stage of the brand journey, looking for end-to-end strategic and execution support around the launch of the brand and its first product.
The requirement extended beyond marketing communication alone. The ask involved helping shape the product’s market readiness, overall positioning, communication strategy, launch direction, and operational ecosystem required to bring the brand to market.
The Challenge
Launching a premium sustainable product in a category as price-sensitive and cluttered as sanitary care comes with multiple challenges.
The brand needed to establish credibility, premium perception, and distinctiveness while also navigating practical issues around packaging, vendor sourcing, pricing, compliance, logistics, and launch readiness.
Additionally, the communication needed to avoid the generic visual and messaging language commonly associated with the category, while still retaining relatability and trust.
